actually to do programming yes you do need math skills

  16. 126644 Says:

    3D Modeler/Animator or Texture Artist

  17. 126644 Says:

thats cool me I’m almost done with college as well but I haven’t started looking for a Job yet

  18. MutantFrk Says:

Small independent start-up game company called CWS Software. Doing a bit of work on a game engine with them while finishing up my CS Degree in college.

  19. 126644 Says:

very true so what company do you program for

  20. MutantFrk Says:

As a programmer, I can tell you that’s very true. Broad, general statements about crashes from a QA Tester are entirely useless to me, and are ignored because I don’t have the time to do their job and figure out what happened. Programmers need very specific, precise, detailed descriptions of the scenario in which the game crashed in order to attempt to find a given bug. To be a QA tester, you need both strong technical writing and communication skills.

  21. 126644 Says:

yea very true but some companies if you QA for them I heard that its good if you have some programming knowledge just so that you can make a good explanation of what glitch you found in they game statements like I was playing the game and it froze in the middle does not help the programmer but statements like when I was playing through the game I shot my Battle Rifle and the animation just froze does

  22. lilairygaming Says:

what is a A/Q Lead in game designing!! can someone leave me a comment on my youtube and tell me

  23. MutantFrk Says:

Very true, it’s almost never an entry position. The way into any of the big game studios is through QA & testing. Just gotta get your foot in the door first.

  24. Tiwaking Says:

Did he just say that the Metal Gear Solid games were ‘brilliant’?

    Is he high?
