i have just started a landscape architecture degree after 2 years of town planning. i found planning too dry and not design orientated enough for me and architecture too concerned with form and aesthetics.
i was however able to transfer the knowledge i had from these disciplines into l/a. i really do think it takes all the best elements of planning, architecture and environmental science to create something that will make a difference in this world.
