The organizers fucked this one up, i mean, why not put up a dedicated network for Jobs and his phone?
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm
@purt077 Its 570 people on it live updating and streaming audio to their websites. not sitting and sipping coffee and checking the weather for the day.

@Dylnuge thats very true, but how many people are gonna look at another phone, when they have the iphone that is right in front of them. they will get less attention because apple is an extremely popular business, and they will get the iphone because its an iphone, having new stuff is just the perk to them, whether apple created or not.

How are you gonna complain that people are on wifi when you are at a TECH DEMO? SO everytime you walk in a starbucks you have to ask everyone to turn their shit off or what?
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm

“oo im sorry guys but i dont think im going to be able to get this workingg”
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm

June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm
Steve Jobs talks about how video calling is “real now” as if it wasn’t the day before he did this. Hasn’t he ever heard of Skype, or for that matter the number of phones that already had cameras on their fronts and already supported this? Apple is an innovative company and the iPhone has always been an innovative phone, but Steve Jobs needs to stop pretending that every cool new feature they put on the iPhone is an Apple idea/creation.

I dont know why but i kept imagining jobbs saying
“Aww cheese and crackers kids im having a problem”
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm
not his fault not the iphones fault, its the wifi’s fault. 570 wifi connections, i bet alot of peoples wifi wasn’t working.

More than 500 WiFi signals in a single room, what did you expect?
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm
Well, things happen
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm

June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm

June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm
@captaindoogles They were more than 550 Wifi base stations.
It’s huge usually in populated area there are like 20 wifi bases maximum I think…
Maybe a website will “test” this iPhone in different places and will say if it works or not.
Let’s wait the feedbacks
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm
@stalker7d7 its not the phone when there are 500 wireless devices connected to one network
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:48 pm
So if I am at my college campus my phone is going to freak out? Is that what I’m getting? And so this is also not an AT&T issue?
Wifi base stations? Is that not a router or an AP? or what I think is the IPHONE just wants to talk to every device connected to its network.
Darn Apple talk.
